You’re more than enough

There’s a time in everyone’s life when you feel like luck is always in your favor. Everything that you want works the way you want it to. Your ambition and personality shines right in your eyes. There’s no room for fear, jealousy or any negative emotions in your life as if those words don’t exist in your dictionary. You can’t remember any misfortune ever  that happened to you, like awesomeness is the definition to your life and then there’s someone knocking at your door,

“WHO’S There? “

You’re not the person you are anymore. Suddenly, you’re afraid of so many things, you’re afraid of the dark, of talking in the mass, of dying alone, of those awkward greetings where they go for a handshake and you go for a hug, totally feeling like a chump. One bad moment all of sudden makes you forget every single good thing happened in your life. You feel you’re unimportant, unloved and most unfortunate person in the whole world. When you try to speak your mind to someone and they tell you to get over it. As if it was something that could be remedied by any of the content found in the first aid kit. Because of some people who thought you weren’t good enough you feel like a trash despite having an army of friends who call you an inspiration.

But I want to tell you that this is all debris left over when we finally decide to smash all things that kept us thinking you weren’t worth it. And if you can’t see anything beautiful about yourself, get a better mirror, look a little closer, stare a little longer because something inside you that made you keep trying despite everyone who told you to quit. You built a silver lining around your broken heart and signed it yourself “they were wrong“. They have to be wrong. Why else would we still be here?
